Purpose
Reduced screens are ‘results only’ screens in QESTLab which do not perform any calculations. A reduced screen will allow the user to enter final result values related to the test method without allowing the entry of intermediate observation or measurement values or the equipment items used to carry out the test. A reduced screen will also round the final result value as required by the relevant test method. Reduced entry screens are created and maintained by Spectra QEST and can be used to enter final results calculated outside of QESTLab. Reduced screens serve two main purposes:
- To close gaps in test method coverage (which is often better achieved through the use of User Documents)
- For reporting on QESTLab native Test Reports with other test methods
- For analysis and inclusion on QESTLab generated management reports
- For importing the entered results into other native test methods for use in subsequent calculations
