Equipment
The following equipment can be selected on the worksheet:
Equipment label | Qest ID | Notes |
---|---|---|
Balance | 30005 | |
Hotplate | 30010 | |
Moisture Tin | 30125 | Applicable only when using Kiosk Mode |
Imported Data
Although there is a Q010 worksheet in QESTLab, it is not possible to import the correction coefficients - these must be entered manually
Data Entry
QTMR subsidiary moisture content methods must be corrected, requiring Test Methods Q010 and Q102A to be used. The slope and y intercept of the linear relationship obtained from Test Method Q010 are free entered on the Q102D worksheet.
Calculated Results
QTMR subsidiary moisture content methods must be corrected using the relationship established in Test Method Q010. Otherwise, the calculations in Test Method Q102D conform to the behavior described in Moisture Content Tests
Kiosk Mode
This test screen supports kiosk mode data entry and balance interfacing for all masses.
Additionally, the specimen grid supports moisture tin association for navigation to the test screen by scanning a moisture tin barcode for capturing the dry masses.
Bulk Entry
Reporting
The results from this worksheet can be reported on the Aggregate Soil Test Report and Multiple Aggregate Soil Test Report as described in Moisture Content Tests
Reported Values
Field | Database Field Name | Unit | Precision | Condition |
---|---|---|---|---|
Estimated Moisture Content | AmendedMoisture | % | As per Q102D Table 2 | Always |
Moisture Content | MoistureContent | % | As per Q102D Table 2 | Only if coefficients A and B from Q010 have been entered |
