This article provides details on license warnings that end users may see and how these can be resolved.

License Warnings

When attempting to perform an action in the QESTField mobile app, web app or Scheduler users may be presented with a message similar to the below.

There are three different circumstances in which a request for a user license will be refused.

Product is not licensed: The product required for the action has not been added to the organization's license. These actions will not be available until a customer license including that product is installed.
Product license has expired: The product license required for the action has expired and the 15 day grace period has elapsed. These actions will not be available until the product license expiry date is updated and the customer license is reinstalled.
- If there is no license expiry date set, this check will not be performed.
No more user licenses are available: The number of concurrent users for the product has exceeded the number of licenses. These actions will not be available to users who do not have an active user license until one of the active user licenses expires, one of the active user licenses is revoked, or until a license with a higher number of licensed users is installed.

User License Revocation

When a license is revoked by one user it becomes available for reallocation to another user. When a message is encountered indicating that the user's organization has reached its limit of purchased licenses for the indicated product, a license will need to be revoked by a user currently holding a license before the user receiving the warning can continue.

After a user license has been requested via use of the relevant product, it will be automatically revoked after a fixed expiry time of four hours. When the user performs another action requiring the same user license, the user license will be refreshed and its expiry time will be reset. Additionally, logging out of the QESTField web application, the QESTField mobile application or QESTField Scheduler will revoke any user licenses allocated to that user.
