QESTLab provides a feature rich set of tools to manage and track both equipment and personnel qualifications.

Equipment that is used both in the field and laboratory is tracked as part of QESTLab's equipment registry. Equipment can be registered, calibration information entered and calibration/check cycles scheduled. The quality manager will be notified when opening QESTLab of any equipment that have schedules which are due to be completed. The equipment used is selected as part of completing test worksheets such that there is a complete tracked history of the use and state of the equipment when used in the system. This gives the quality manager peace of mind that tests are being performed with well maintained and calibrated pieces of equipment.

Field personnel qualifications are tracked, with expiration dates and periods, to ensure training renewals are not missed. Qualification information is displayed in the QESTField Scheduler to assist the dispatcher in assigning field work.

Individual laboratory technician competencies can be configured on a per-test basis to ensure that only those technicians with the appropriate proven competency can access the relevant test method.
