This article describes the view and functionality of the QESTField Home Page.

Overview
The QESTField Home Page will display after field technicians have successfully logged into QESTField. This page displays work orders assigned to the logged in field technician. Work orders are created and assigned in QESTField Scheduler, QESTLab or QESTField Tests.
The ability to create work orders in QESTField Tests is an optional workflow and is configurable through the QEST Administrator Console.
Home Page
The QESTField Home Page automatically displays work orders assigned to the field technician for the current Work Date. This page consists of two section: Search and Work Orders.
Search Section
Allows field technicians to search for work orders assigned to them by Work Date or Work Order ID. The Work Date field allows searching for work orders by the previous, current or future dates. The Work Order ID field allows searching for specific work orders assigned or unassigned to the field technician. Work orders returned by theses filters are display in the work orders section.
Work Date Default
The Work Date automatically defaults to the current date.
Work Orders Section
This section displays work orders for the selected Work Date or Work Order ID.
Work Order Card
The work order card displays information for the assigned field work. The information on the left side of the card displays the Work Order ID, Project Name, Project Location and Work Instructions. The information on the right side of the card displays the scheduled start time and the field work status of the Work Order.
Field Work Status
There are four Field Work Statuses for a work order: Confirmation Pending, Work Confirmed / Work In Progress, Work Complete and Work Cancelled. An icon on the Work Order card indicates the current status of the work order.

Similar icons also display in QESTField Scheduler as a visual cue for the dispatcher indicating the status of the work order.

Additional Functionality
Three Bar/Hamburger Icon
Clicking on the three bar/hamburger Icon
located in the upper right hand corner of the Home Page displays additional settings.
The field technician's name will be displayed at the top of the screen. This screen also allows field technicians to change their password, log off or change the theme of the page from light to dark.
Refresh Icon
Clicking on the refresh icon
located to the right of the search bar, refreshes/updates the home screen. QESTField will auto-refreshes every 60 seconds.
New Work Order
A New Work Order can be created for the default home laboratory by clicking on the red plus icon
. New work orders for other laboratories can also be created by clicking on the Additional Laboratories drop-down icon 
.
The New Work Order functionality is an optional setting that can be configured to display on the QESTField home page.
