Report Reviewers
QEST Platform 4.92 and 4.93
Applies to QESTLab
The articles in this section describe the process for finding, reviewing and publishing reports in QEST Platform.
QEST Platform users have access to QESTLab which provides many tools to assist report revision and distribution. Access to review completed work orders, sign reports and publish reports is controlled through the use of Role permissions or individually for each laboratory technician through the use of competencies. System level options can be activated in the QEST Admin Console which will enforce that checked documents can only be changed by laboratory supervisors and documents with results that appear on a test report can not be changed by any user.
Test information options are available to record the tester and reviewer for a test worksheet. Once test results have been entered and checked they are ready for publication on a test report. Test reports can be viewed individually by retrieving the sample and associated documents or using a filter. Filters exist within QESTLab to search for reports ready for review or ready for publishing. Additional filters can be created to search for reports ready for review on a specific day or for a specific client and project.
Before test reports are issued to a customer they are typically signed by an user who is appropriately accredited to do so. Signatory rights are managed through the QEST Administrator Console. Signing of individual reports can be completed by clicking on a checkbox at the bottom left of the each test report. There are also cases where test reports can be bulk signed. Reports that have been reviewed and signed can be published from within QESTLab directly to the client via email, published to construction Hive or exported as a PDF ready for distribution at a later date.
