Overview
This article describe the use of the reduced test worksheet 'Proctor Test' and its relationship with the Relative Compaction worksheet.
Intended Use
These worksheets are reduced entry, and permit the entry of results only. These entry fields are the final results of performing a Proctor test on a sample. The main purpose for this worksheet is to allow users to enter Proctor results for regional Proctor tests where QESTLab does not currently support a full-blown native test. The results entered on this generic test are able to subsequently be imported into the Relative Compaction worksheets to calculate the relative compaction and moisture variation.
This reduced test is quite special in that it does not have a test method defined as part of its inherent properties. Instead, the Test Method field is a drop down populated with values from the Generic Proctor Test Methods List (20160). When imported on a Relative Compaction test, the Field Density Test Report will treat the value from the Test Method field as the test method of the Proctor test.
