Overview

A Finalized Work Order will be set to either Work Cancelled or Work Complete. This status is often used in QESTLab filters for report reviewers to enable the retrieval of reports ready for review.

Finalize Work Order Workflow

To finalize a work order a technician will click on the Finalize Work Order workflow located under the Workflows section of the work order page.

Finalize Work Order Page

The Finalize Work Order page will display the following information Work Order ID, Client, Project, Work Instructions, Work Cancelled, Work Date, Location and Work Complete.  Here a field technician will check the Work Cancelled or Work Complete box to finalize the work order.

Once the work order is checked as Work Cancelled or Work Complete, clicking Done will finalize the work order.  Finalizing a work order will set the Field Work Status of a work order.

Field Work Status

At the bottom of the work order workflow the Field Work Status will display Not Confirmed, Confirmed, Cancelled or Complete.

If a field technician needs to edit the Field Work Status of a work order that has been marked as Cancelled or Complete they can reopen the Finalize Work Order workflow to re-edit the status.

For more information about work status of a work order see the Field Work Status section of the QESTField Home Page and Assigning Work Orders articles.
